Submission Rules

The rules for submissions to Great Craft Articles are pretty straight-forward but worth a quick read because if you don't follow them your article gets rejected!

1. Articles should be 300 to 1500 words long (summary of 200 characters max). This is a craft articles directory, please don't submit articles which are not relevant to a craft audience. Articles are normally read within 72 hours but we make no guarantees. Depending on the number of articles submitted this could be longer.

2. Articles must be your own work. You must not break copyright, plagiarize or otherwise steal! You must be the sole copyright holder for each article you submit. If not, you'll just get banned. It's perfectly OK to submit an article here that you've already submitted to another article site - in fact I would recommend submitting to multiple sites for best results - I certainly do. If you are using PLR then rewrite. It does you no good to submit copied stuff anyway. It's a waste of your time and ours. Articles written by ghost writers or article writing services are OK as long as they are being used only by yourself. If you're looking for good writers at excellent rates I recommend Articlez.com

3. When you submit your articles to Great Craft Articles, you grant us the right to publish them. We may publish your article anywhere on our website, blog, or syndicate through RSS. We may also change if it appears, where it appears, including the category, at any time.

4. When you submit your articles to Great Craft Articles you grant others the right to publish them. Other users have the right to publish your articles on their craft blogs or websites, in their newsletters or ezines, and more as long as the article is left in the original state. This includes the resource box which provides you credit as the author of the content. You realise that you will receive no payment of any kind from any party for any publication of your articles.

5. You may not include links in the article body. The articles that you submit to Great Craft Articles must not contain links to other sites. Links must be contained in your resource box. A maximum of two (2) links is allowed to craft blogs or websites that you own. You must not link to affiliate sites direct. Promoting affiliate programs from your site is fine, but linking directly from your article to the affiliate site will just get it rejected.

6. Submitting your article does not guarantee publication. We reserve the right to reject an article submission for any reason. We reserve the right to remove a published article for any reason or to ban an author at any time and for any reason.

7. Your articles must be spellchecked and proof read before submission. It's not our job to check or coorect your spelling or your grammer. This is an English language site and all articles should be to a reasonable standard. Your article doesn't have to be Pulitzer prize stuff, just good, clear English. This is not an automated system, someone reads each article. If it's full of errors it just gets rejected.

There you go. Not too onerous are they! Check your article thoroughly before submitting. I'm an article marketer myself, I understand that it's tempting to rattle stuff out and fire it off. It usually leads to rejection and frustration when just taking a bit more time would have avoided it.
